OraMD - Clean Your Teeth Without the Chemicals Back to school time is the perfect time to start new routines and to focus on enhancing your family’s health, and as a green and natural mama, I try to boost my the health of my family by avoiding chemicals and toxins whenever possible. Oral hygiene is one aspect of health that we often don’t give much thought to beyond daily teeth brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits, but sadly, like many of the products we have grown up taking for granted, there are chemicals and toxins included in many of the products that we and our children ingest every single day.

Luckily, there are products like OraMD that offer families a natural, effective, and economical way to combat gum problem-causing bacteria, freshen breath, and kill periodontal bacteria. OraMD is a bottle that can easily be carried in a small purse or pencil case, and it is a 100% natural liquid that is a toothpaste, mouthwash and breath freshener with strong antibacterial properties all in one.

OraMD is safe for anyone three years of age and up, so whether your child is starting preschool (like my son!) or is heading back to college, you can feel confident that she is going to have healthy teeth and gums throughout the school year.

I really enjoyed using a product that was made of 100% natural almond, spearmint and peppermint oils rather than a toothpaste or mouthwash that includes sodium fluoride (also found in rat poison and insecticides), triclosan (classified as a pesticide by the Environmental Protection Agency), and sodium lauryl sulfate (which stay within the body for up to five days, accumulating in the heart, liver, lungs and brain). (To learn more about the harmful ingredients in standard toothpastes, please visit LiveStrong.)

My breath felt fresh, my gums looked healthy, and my teeth felt clean. I have never had a cavity in my life, and I trust OraMD to help me maintain that record.

OraMD is really easy to use. I’ve never used a liquid toothpaste before, but it worked effectively just by adding a couple of drops to my toothbrush. I also used it as a mouthwash by adding 1 or 2 drops to an ounce of water.

My three year old likes using it, and although the taste was a bit strong for him at first, it subsided quickly over time.

Other things I love about OraMD include:
– The peppermint oil has potent anti-bacterial properties
– The spearmint oil has potent anti-inflammatory properties
– It’s Flouride-free
– It’s Alcohol-free
– It contains no abrasives like silica which is found in nearly all toothpastes
– It’s GMO-free!
– The manufacturer has a 12-year track record with selling over half a million bottles OraMD, and an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.
– It’s made in the USA.

Green your family’s school year by starting a chemical and toxin-free oral hygiene routine with OraMD.

This is a very interesting product and I would love to try it. I am picky about my toothpaste ever since I had thrush for a whole month…after a month I found out it was because of the whitening stuff in it.

We’re very interested in using all-natural dental products. I’ve never tried this and would really like to.

I really want to try OraMD. I have always had a real burning sensation throughout my mouth when I brush my teeth. Because it’s always been that way, I thought it was supposed to burn. Until recently when a friend told me she and one of her kids was “allergic” to toothpaste. I had never heard of anybody having that allergy before, so I asked her how she knew that. She said the Dr and Dentist diagnosed it and the main symptom is burning. Now I wonder if I am allergic to toothpaste too?
