Green Resolutions Giveaway Hop: Zarbee’s Family Pack of All Natural Medicines {US; 1/30; $27}

by Charise Rohm Nulsen

Welcome to the Green Resolutions Giveaway Hop, hosted by Happy Mothering and Mama Chocolate. To help our readers start their New Year off Green, members of the Green Moms Network have come together to offer giveaways valued at $25+. After entering my giveaway below, please visit the other blogs listed under the Rafflecopter form to find the rest of the green giveaways.

If your New Years resolution was to bring more “natural” into your life, then Zarbee’s can offer you a very effective helping hand as you make your way through cold and flu season. Zarbee’s offers a line of safe, effective, and natural cough medicines that help with coughs, irritated throats, dry coughing, hoarseness, and immune system support. Dark honey is a key ingredient in all of their medicines, and we have found all of the Zarbee’s products we’ve tried to be extremely soothing.

Zarbee's All Natural Cough Medicine

My two and a half year old son tried the All-Natural Children’s Cough Syrup which is safe for children 12 months and older, and it was exactly what he needed to relieve him of a somewhat persistent dry cough. His cough was worse at night, and the All-Natural Children’s Nighttime Cough Syrup which is safe for children two years old and up was a big help in giving him a peaceful night’s sleep. Typically, if my son has a cough, he wakes up several times in the night due to discomfort and coughing fits, but the little bit of melatonin added into this cough syrup really went a long way for him.

It’s very important to me to avoid regular medicines for my family whenever possible. I would always rather a naturally based solution, and I was able to feel 100% comfortable giving my son Zarbee’s cough syrups. Traditional drug-based cough syrups contain potentially dangerous and ineffective ingredients such as Dextromethorphan and alcohol that unnaturally suppress coughs and can be potentially harmful when mixed together or taken in excess.

As a breastfeeding mama, it is a priority for me to be as careful as possible with what I ingest and pass along to my baby girl. I very rarely take any medicine, but there was one night recently when I had a hacking dry cough that became very persistent whenever I was lying down. I kept startling my daughter as I slept near her and needed to nurse her in the night. After one dose of the Extra Strength All-Natural Cough Syrup, my urge to cough was relieved and my daughter and I were able to sleep in peace.

My husband recently had what he thinks may have been the flu, and he had a really bad cough that got much worse at night. The All-Natural Nighttime Extra Strength Cough and Throat Relief was a huge help to him. He drank it like a nighttime tea, and it provided him with tremendous relief.

I appreciate that the Zarbee’s products not only treat the symptoms at hand, but also help to boost your immune system with Vitamin C and Zinc. I’m sure many families will also appreciate the fact that the medicines are gluten and dye-free and contain literally no drugs or alcohol. You can really trust Zarbee’s products; they were developed by Dr. Zak Zarbock, one of the country’s top pediatricians, and they are recommended by pediatricians nationwide.

Zarbee’s products have been a big help to my family throughout this winter season, and I am so happy to have an all natural, drug-free line of products to rely on when we get sick! If you would like to learn more about Zarbee’s, please visit their Facebook page or their web site.

Win it!

You can win a Zarbee’s family prize pack by entering below. The pack includes the Children’s All-Natural Daytime and Nighttime syrups and the Extra-Strength Nighttime Drink Packets for adults. The value is $26.97, and it is open to US residents only.

Both my daughter and myself had the flu at Christmas. We had to cancel plans with family and were miserable. Three weeks later and I still don’t feel right. We actually used this Zarbee’s cough syrup with my daughter and I thought it did a good job. We picked it because it was all-natural and a friend had recommended it.

We haven’t had any sickness so far (knock on wood). But I attribute it to the fact that we eat healthy, wash our hands, and also expose ourselves to a healthy amount of germs to build up natural immunities.
